上林の桜 / Sakura in Kambayashi

ここ上林は冷涼地のため、同じ京都でも桜の時期は違い。京都市内より１週間くらい遅いです。京都に来て市内、それから綾部と２度桜を楽しみ頂けます。しかも綾部の桜スポットはほとんど人がいません。Ayabe, norhtern Kyoto pref is a bit chilly place. So Sakura are bloom about 1 week after Sakura finished blooming in Kyoto city. You can enjoy twice Sakura in Kyoto. The big difference is that there are not many people or I can say, No people here. so you can occupy Sakura by yourself

今年の桜ですが、中上林の八幡宮はまだ３割程度、しだれ桜で有名な上林禅寺の桜は８割くらい咲いています。As for Sakura in Kambayashi, At HACHIMAN shrine, it is about 30 %, and at JYORIN ZEN temple, the weeping Sakura are about 80%. Actually this weeping sakura are famous. They were broadcasted by NHK once.
